Tatton Park 2010

Garden details

The Albert Dock Garden - RHS Gold medal winning Show garden, winner of the Young Designer of the Year competition in 2010 and overall Best Garden in Show award.

The design was based around Liverpool’s revolutionary Albert Dock, which features the UK’s largest collection of Grade 1 listed buildings, including the world’s first non combustible warehouse built solely from cast iron, brick and granite. With the creation of fragmented walls and the use of pleached trees this garden was designed to be viewed by visitors walking through it as well as externally. It creates intriguing and exciting views from all angles yet provides a peaceful and tranquil area in which to sit and relax. Gold, Best Show Garden & Winner of the RHS Young Garden Designer competition 2010

This garden was relocated to Purbeck Secondary School in Dorset where it now acts as both a recreational and educational garden for both pupils and staff.
